Moderation helpers
Prepare commands, review messages and use saved reasons while keeping native moderation permissions in control.
Find it in: Toolkit/Moderation
Review a single action
Open a message action
Right-click a native or Mix message for a timeout shortcut, Ban or Unban.
Check the target
Review the exact channel, username, duration and reason. You can edit the command, copy it or put it into the native draft without sending.
Send explicitly
Use the reviewed Send action only when ready. An unrelated unsent draft, changed composer or missing access blocks submission.
Prepare a command queue
Choose open channels and usernames
Use up to 100 usernames, the intended Ban/Unban/Timeout action and an optional reason.
Prepare queue
Inspect every generated command and channel.
Send next, skip or copy
Send next invokes one native submission. Skip next and Copy queue let you proceed deliberately. There is no automatic mass-send loop.
Save shortcuts and reasons
Moderation shortcuts supports up to six timeout durations from 1-604,800 seconds. Defaults include 60, 600 and 3,600. Save up to twelve one-line reasons of 255 characters for reuse in quick actions and the queue. These are local preferences included in supported backups.
Collect messages for review
Collect new messages for review starts off. Named global defaults and channel profiles control literal phrases and repeat thresholds. The initial repeat rule is three identical messages from one username in one channel within 30 seconds, with at least four characters. Entries name the profile that flagged them. Collection never hides, times out or bans anyone automatically.
Preserve only already-observed text
Optional deleted-message retention keeps a bounded local copy when an explicit deletion marker replaces text previously seen in that row. It cannot recover messages never observed, remote moderation history or unknown timeout details. Disabling retention or clearing the log removes that local copy.
Can I use these tools without being a moderator?
Local review and copies may be available, but Kick decides whether submitted moderation commands are permitted.
Does a queued action run on every channel automatically?
No. Commands are reviewed and sent one at a time.
Are review messages included in backups?
No. Preferences such as reasons can be backed up; queues and message logs cannot.
Written for version 1.1. Some controls may be unavailable in an earlier installed release. See release notes.
