Set up Autoclipping

Choose your open chats, learn from test mode and explicitly decide whether to review, save, publish or do both.

Find it in: ToolkitAutoclippingSetup

What Autoclipping watches

  1. 01New chat messages
  2. 02Your detection rules
  3. 03A detected moment
  4. 04Your chosen output

Autoclipping looks for qualifying changes in the selected, open chats. It does not analyze video or audio. Initial history and restored messages do not count. A detection is a review hint, not proof that something interesting happened.

Select the chats to monitor

  1. Open the channels and their chats

Keep each source you want to analyze open in this Kick workspace.

  2. Choose chats in Setup

Select only those you want. Opening a new chat does not add it automatically.

  3. Save the profile

Use the default profile or a channel override. Set detection, timing and output before starting.

Choose the output

ModeWhat happens after a qualifying moment
Review queue onlyAdds a moment for manual review without automatic saving or publication.
Save to diskAttempts a local DVR save to the folder you choose.
Publish on KickUses Kick's native clipping action on the signed-in account.
Save to disk and publish on KickRuns the two outputs independently and reports each result.

Start with test mode

  1. Choose Start test mode

The same detection rules and review queue run, with no automatic disk save or publication.

  2. Wait through learning

Activity growth needs two complete analysis periods. Check Diagnostics for new messages, distinct chatters and warmup.

  3. Review several moments

Check whether the triggers fit your chat. Tune the profile before choosing Turn on Autoclipping.

Start, stop and read the icons

Turn on Autoclipping explicitly starts your chosen channels and mode. Disk saving needs a selected folder and source access. Closing Toolkit alone leaves monitoring running. Stop, disabling enhancements or reloading stops it.

Common questions

Can it watch a chat I closed?

No. Keep the selected source chats open. Removing a channel disarms its monitoring.

Do settings changes keep the old resume choice?

No. Changes disarm the resume choice so you can review and start the new configuration deliberately.

Where are detected moments stored?

The queue stays in the current page's memory. Exported video files stay where you save them; queue entries are not preference backups.
