Search what you have observed

Use Activity and chat search to find retained messages from this page's open chats. Filter by channel, username or text. Clear activity clears the RAM sample, including its inbox and analytics. The buffer cannot search messages that were never received.

Set up the mentions inbox

   Enter Your username for mentions

   Add up to 20 aliases if people call you by other names.

   Enable Collect new mentions in the inbox

   Only eligible new, unfiltered messages count. Initial history, restored history and your own messages are excluded.

   Review without losing unread state

   Filter the inbox by channel, search or unread status. Opening it does not mark all messages read. Mark them read when you choose.

Choose a mention sound

   Enable Play a sound for new mentions

   Choose the sound visibility rule, such as when the workspace tab is in the background.

   Pick a tone or local MP3

   General > Notification sounds offers the default tone or Choose MP3. A custom file is limited to 2 MB and must be a valid readable MP3.

   Preview at a comfortable volume

   Use Preview sound, Stop preview and the volume setting. A selected MP3 is kept locally; backups exclude the audio copy.

Optional desktop notifications

   Enable Show desktop notifications

   Grant Chrome's notifications permission through the provided action. It starts off and is independent of sound.

   Choose Notify me when

   Use Kick is in the background, The chat is not being viewed, or Any eligible new mention.

   Set a cooldown

   Minimum seconds between notifications accepts 5-300 seconds and applies across open tabs.

   Decide about message previews

   Include a short message preview is off by default. A preview can appear on your desktop or lock screen. Use the test and removal controls to check the setup.

Analytics and optional restoration

Measure new chat activity reports observed messages, distinct authors and rates over 1, 5 or 15 minutes. It is a local sample, not Kick's audience total. Busy-chat caps can make a sample partial.

Save recent chat locally for restoration is a separate opt-in. Choose 1, 6 or 24-hour retention. Restored entries are labelled in Activity and user history, not inserted into native chat. They cannot trigger alerts, games, giveaways, analytics or Autoclipping.
